Essentially if i want a card i pay £5 to activate it as a one off fee, then £1.50 a month maintenance for the card (£18 a year) £1 to put money on to the card then if i want money out at the ATM it'll cost me £1.08 each time.

I guess as long as the amount going in is higher than £10 or so it'll be worth it for fast payments but i may use it as a holding bay for emergency money or wait until i get to around £200 then withdraw it all for £1.08 instead of in bits and charged each time

Good idea, lets hope it all pays off and redeems faith in Bux after 'the stats issue'

Other Earners?

What if Bux goes? can't afford to invest in it and want to earn elsewhere?

I'm not trying to influence but i am part of the following sites...


GreasyPalm - at around £14, payout at £25. (Daily Cashback clicks of £0.02 and £0.04)

GreasyPalm is a cashback site so it comes into its own when you make purchases online, big cashbacks for places like ebay and Play.com but it has many many sites listed and so make sure you check before you buy online.

Save online.... MyCoucherCodes, VoucherCodes, EverydaySale

- these are all sites that have users listing voucher codes daily received by the post or email or seen on message boards so before you buy, check on these sites to see if you can save some money :)

The way i shop....

Find the product > Cashback site, click the retailers link > Check for discount (in separate window so it doesnt stop the cashback tracking) > Buy at discount and with cashback (if you're lucky and get both)

Pigsback

Pigsback is another cashback style website but instead of paying out money, it allows you to get vouchers for places like HMV and Pizzahut or give a donation to a number of charities, you earn through clicks on affiliates listed on the website (some are quick and just need a click to earn), they have competitions to earn points, free registrations for sites to earn points etc. Although not always huge money to be made, it's shaved £10 off my Pizzahut meal :)


Paid.vg - scam or not? same vein as Bux.to and other PTC sites, i've joined, wont be buying any referals and just seeing if it's legit really


Bux3.com- as the name suggests, another Bux style site, this ones fairly new so i figure i'll give it a go and see if it dies like so many others. Again i wont be buying referals, just seeing if i can earn through clicks and get paid
